Getting to know Jason:
Q: When/how did you become involved with Lightbearers?
A: I became involved with Lightbearers when I came on staff in 2014. I first heard about the ministry from Andrew Brill, who was high school friends with my wife. Andrew and I met and hit it off right away, discussing discipleship and missions.
Q: What is your favorite book and/or quote?
A: “All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind wake in the day to find it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes to make it possible.” – T.E. Lawrence
Q: What excites you about the Lightbearers vision?
A: The intentionality and commitment to the slow process of discipleship. Also, the sustainable model, investing in real estate to generate profits helping to fund the ministry.
Q: Other than Jesus, what Bible character would you want to have lunch with?
Q: Other than Bible characters, what three people, living or dead, would you want to have lunch with?
A: My dad, Jeffrey Sachs, C.S. Lewis.
Q: What does a fun, relaxing day look like for you?
A: Getting up early and going outside on an adventure with the family and dog! For me to relax, my legs need to be moving.
