Q: When/how did you become involved with Lightbearers?
I first heard about Lightbearers from my discipleship group leader (and now boss!), Matt Jolley. A casual conversation turned into a clear commitment as I began to understand the heart of Lightbearers. One of my life’s greatest passions is equipping and encouraging others to develop an intimate and zealous relationship with Christ through investing in biblical discipleship and studying and applying the Word of God for themselves so that they may live missionally. Sounds like Lightbearers to me!
Q: What is your favorite book and/or quote?
“Blessed is the servant who esteems himself no better when he is praised and exalted by people than when he is considered worthless, simple, and despicable; for what a man is before God, that he is and nothing more.” -St. Francis of Assisi
Q: What excites you about the Lightbearers vision?
The Lightbearers vision excites me because of how it aligns with the vision Jesus had for His disciples. It is one thing to equip and invest. It is another to send out with expectation. When both are coupled together, sustainable and reproducible life change happens.
Q: Other than Jesus, what Bible character would you want to have lunch with?
The Apostle John
Q: Other than Bible characters, what three people, living or dead, would you want to have lunch with?
Christine Caine, Gary Haugen, and Jimmy Fallon
Q: What does a fun, relaxing day look like for you?
Sleeping in late, cooking breakfast with my husband, doing some reading outside, playing music, and having friends over for dinner!
